With mikroProg™, single firmware takes care of all supported architectures. Programming PIC32 after PIC18 can be done as soon as you select it from the dropdown list of mikroProg Suite™ software. Supporting new microcontrollers is easy. Just by downloading the latest version of mikroProg Suite™ your programmer is ready to program new devices. mikroProg Suite™ is updated regularly, at least four times a year, so your programmer will be more and more powerful with each new release.

Pinout compatible with PICFlash
If you have already integrated previous programmer connector in your device, don’t worry. mikroProg™ retained the original connector pinout. Use front row of the connector (next to the knob) when programming mikromedia boards, or other with similar single row 5-pin programming pads.

Generate any voltage you want from 1.8–5V
mikroProg™ can provide power supply to your target board. Using mikroProg Suite™ Software, or directly from your compiler you can set the voltage level to be generated for you. It can provide up to 250mA of current in the voltage range from 1.8–5V. But if you provided power to your target board from another source you don’t have to worry about whether you plugged in the programmer USB cable before or after. Which ever you did first, it will just work. We took care of it.

mikroProg™ programmer requires special programming software called mikroProg Suite™ for PIC®. This software is used for programming ALL of Microchip® microcontroller families, including PIC10, PIC12, PIC16, PIC18, dsPIC30/33, PIC24 and PIC32.
